Case Study/Lil Mixins

Lil Mixins are pediatrician-recommended egg, peanut, tree nut, and probiotic powders for allergy prevention.

Problem: As a start-up with minimal ad budget and an awareness problem, they needed to educate customers about the importance of allergy prevention and how to solve it.

Solution: Allocated resources to developing a content strategy that leaned on the creation of a resource hub. This holds in-depth guides for parents to help them understand how to nurture healthy immune system for their baby and build trust in Lil Mixins. The updates included improvements to site functionality, content library, and site quality.

Results

Project managed the Shopify Theme transition and content hub development while leading 7 team members across marketing, design, and development in a hybrid approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Scoped project from initiation to close with collaboration of the founder. Prioritized stories in the backlog and agreed on definition of done.

  • Kept creation of project schedule, budget estimates, and team resourcing via a Smartsheet resource calendar.

  • I facilitated short iterations and daily standups.

  • At the end of the sprint, I conducted a retrospective. The web pages were deployed within the planned schedule.
